The large depot at Sujiatun was a busy place indeed. There were large numbers of QJs to be seen and constant action. Locomotives were entering and leaving the yard whilst a steady procession of steam hauled freights passed by on the main line from Shenyang. |

| The condition of some of the locomotives was obviously 'ex-works'. Here QJ No 2252 awaits its next duty and probably return to its home depot. |
