Large Red Damselfly (Pyrrhosoma nymphula)
Common Blue Damselfly (Enallagma cyathigerum)
Blue-tailed Damselfly (Ischnura elegans)
Azure Damselfly (Coenagrion puella)

At Anderton Nature Park (67M SJ651751) Rob McHale and Craig Higson found 20+ Large Red Damselfly, 4 teneral Blue-tailed Damselfly and one each of Common Blue Damselfly and Azure Damselfly.

25.4.04

Further sightings of teneral Large Red Damselfly were reported today by Andy Harmer who was visiting the Mill Cut, Frodsham (57J SJ535785).

23.4.04
The first sightings of 2004 were made today. Bryan Roberts reports from Anderton Nature Park (67M SJ651751) where he found several Large Red Damselfly. Meanwhile Dave Walters also found Large Red Damselfly at Little Budworth Common (56Y SJ584661).
