| Shown as a disused limekiln on the large scale Ordnance Survey maps the remains of this kiln can just be defined. The limestone has been quarried in shallow strips probably in the eighteenth century and possibly earlier. All that is left of the kiln is a small amount of stonework and the outline of the collapsed bowl and draw area. |
