From Sankey Valley Park (58Y SJ585877) Brian Baird reports a pair of Migrant Hawker with the female ovipositing. There were also Brown Hawker and Common Darter.

Richard Gabb was at Jackson's Brickworks (98M SJ947845) where he saw single male Southern Hawker and Brown Hawker along with several Common Darter and Emerald Damselfly.

On a walk around Anderton and Marbury Pete Leicester visited the Weaver at Anderton Nature Park (67M SJ651751) where there were Brown Hawker and Common Darter; Marbury Park (67N SJ655761) had Common Darter, Ruddy Darter, and Emerald Damselfly. Moving on to Neumann's Flash (67S SJ664753) he found Southern Hawker , Migrant Hawker, and Common Darter.

Andrew Goodwin took a stroll to see the ponds at Davenport Hall Farm (76Y SJ797662) and saw Common Hawker, Southern Hawker, and Brown Hawker.

From the Millennium Pond at Mudhurst Lane in Disley (98W SJ981831) Brian Ainscough reports Common Hawker, Brown Hawker, Common Darter, and Emerald Damselfly. Also on the uplands of East Cheshire at the ponds near Oakenclough (96P SJ958696) there were plenty of Common Hawker, Black Darter, and Emerald Damselfly. There was also a single male Southern Hawker.

It was a Brown Hawker day today with sightings in Poynton at Prince Wood (98H SJ935844) and New House Farm (98M SJ940845) as well as another at Macclesfield Riverside Park (97C SJ913748).Dennis Swaby saw two more at Sandbach Flashes (75J SJ728595) along with a couple of Southern Hawker.

Richard Gabb took a stroll to Pearson's in Delamere Forest (57K SJ546715) and found lots of Black Darter with Common Hawker, Brown Hawker, Common Darter, Emerald Damselfly, Common Blue Damselfly, and Blue-tailed Damselfly. At Danes Moss (97A SJ907704) Alex Cropper saw Common Hawker, Brown Hawker, Southern Hawker, and Black Darter with plenty of Emerald Damselfly. Meanwhile on the moors near Oakenclough (96P SJ958696) Steve Hind found Common Hawker, Emperor Dragonfly, Black Darter, Common Darter, and Emerald Damselfly. At Warmingham Flash (76B SJ715632) there were five male Small Red-eyed Damselfly visible when Andrew Goodwin visited.

An unusual sighting at Newchurch Common (66E SJ605688) where Paul Brewster found a pair of Banded Demoiselle with the female ovipositing in lake of this disused sand quarry. There were also plenty of Red-eyed Damselfly.

On the uplands of East Cheshire at Cheshire's Close (85U SJ866588) Andrew Goodwin found a pair of male Black-tailed Skimmer and a single male Common Darter. There was also a male Southern Hawker at Middlewood (98M SJ947847).

Plenty of action today when Ian Brodie called at Danes Moss (97A SJ907704) where he saw Common Hawker, Brown Hawker, Black Darter, Common Darter, and a single Large Red Damselfly. Moving on to the Macclesfield Canal (97A SJ916702) he found Migrant Hawker and Brown Hawker. Back at Warmingham Flash (76B SJ715632) Andy Bissitt spotted a tandem pair of Small Red-eyed Damselfly. Finally, at Abbots Moss (56Z SJ594689) Paul Brewster saw Common Hawker, Brown Hawker, Black Darter, Common Darter, Large Red Damselfly and Emerald Damselfly.

Alan Sherlock, Dennis Swaby, and Andrew Goodwin were out and about today. At Warmingham Flash (76B SJ715632) they saw Brown Hawker, Common Darter, Common Blue Damselfly, Small Red-eyed Damselfly, and Blue-tailed Damselfly. Moving on to Moss End (86B SJ804621) there were Brown Hawker, Common Darter, Ruddy Darter, Emerald Damselfly, Common Blue Damselfly, and Blue-tailed Damselfly. Meanwhile Pete Leicester was at Anderton Nature Park (67M SJ651753) and saw Southern Hawker, Brown Hawker and Blue-tailed Damselfly.

At Woolston Eyes (68P SJ649882) Brian Baird saw a single Emperor Dragonfly and Ruddy Darter with a few Common Blue Damselfly. Meanwhile at Marbury Park (67N SJ655761) Pete Leicester found both Common Darter and Ruddy Darter with a few Emerald Damselfly and a Brown Hawker tucking in to a Meadow Brown butterfly.

Whilst walking in Middlewood (98M SJ947847) I saw a Brown Hawker and a teneral Common Darter. Moving on to the Macclesfield Canal (98M SJ950847) there was a male Southern Hawker feeding along the towpath hedge.
