On a walk around Newchurch Common (66E SJ602687) this morning, I spotted three teneral Large Red Damselfly.

More emergence of Large Red Damselfly at Thurstaston Common (28M SJ243848) is reported by Michael Gardner who found three exuviae and two pre-flight tenerals.
