1.9.10
As September dawned bright and sunny I took a trip to Saltersley Moss in Wilmslow (88F SJ821808) where at first I saw no odonata whatsoever. However, as the temperature rose the air was filled with Black Darter that appeared from amongst the heather. There were also several Brown Hawker and Common Darter, with a single Emerald Damselfly and a couple of Southern Hawker seen along the woodland edge.
