Pete Leicester was fishing at Anderton Nature Park (67M SJ 651753) today, and spotted a solitary male Migrant Hawker patrolling the pool.

With the warm sunshine continuing it was no surprise to see a Common Darter on the Weaver Parkway (66P SJ655681) at lunchtime, and later in the day Tom Kitching spotted a male Black Darter at Danes Moss (97A SJ907706).

Whilst enjoying the warm sunshine along the River Weaver near Marshall's Arm (67K SJ650718) I spotted a male Migrant Hawker on territory. On the canal at Whatcroft (67V SJ685707) Tom Kitching also saw a male Migrant Hawker.

On the anglers' pond at Vale Royal (67K SJ640705) there were two male Migrant Hawker this afternoon.

Peter Shaw found a female Migrant Hawker at Vale Royal (67K SJ640704) this morning.
